My name is Carlos, and I am the visual artist behind A-Noun Gallery. I am currently a marketing student at Texas A&M University–San Antonio, where I also serve as the Director of Multimedia for Jaguar Sports Network. In this role, I photograph home athletic events on campus and help tell the stories of student-athletes through strong, meaningful sports imagery.

My love for the camera started when I was young. I remember saving up my allowance to buy my first camera from an electronics store while I was with my late grandmother. Around that same time, I was inspired by watching shows like Jackass and seeing how they documented real moments, stunts, and experiences on camera. That idea of capturing something as it happened always stood out to me and helped spark my interest in creating.

I began taking my craft more seriously in 2018, and in the fall of 2024, I discovered a deeper passion for capturing sports. Since then, the camera has become something I genuinely love. I chose the name A-Noun Gallery because I realized that I capture nouns: people, places, things, and ideas. Whether I am shooting sports, events, portraits, or creative visuals, my goal is to capture powerful moments with a clean, professional style and create images that people can proudly share, remember, and use for their brand.
